A rare gem available for sale. This original Cheyenne truck presents itself the same way it left the factory in 1972 with its Ochre exterior and saddle interior. West coast truck its entire life until we recently acquired it - rare “California Vehicle Registration” listed on the SPID sticker inside the glovebox. The truck has had one repaint and presents very nicely as well as the interior. Only minor imperfections can be found throughout (it’s still a largely original 50 year old truck).
The engine has been upgraded to a 400 small block V8 which has more torque and is ideal for long bed trucks - it gets up and goes! Mechanically, this truck runs like a top. Recently serviced and given a full tune up / carburetor rebuild. The engine is dressed up with a Holley intake, air cleaner & valve covers. Factory A/C truck - everything is there and still R12; the compressor kicks on but the air is not as cold as it should be. Brand new 33” BF Goodrich K02 tires were just installed and the truck rides great both around town and on the highway.
